Michael stead Cadillac replaced my leaking timing cover seal twice,the repair failed. after the first repair job. Soon after replacing rear shocks, I was told that I needed a new rear differential. I agree for them to replace the differential. At which time, I mentioned to Jack and David in the service department that it appears that my timing cover was leaking again after two pairs already. One star is too high of a rating to provide. Michael Stead Cadillac's customer service was incredibly awful. Service department is incompetent and never returns phone calls in a timely manner. Service reps say they'll call you back, but you will have to call three, four, five or more times to get an answer. They intentionally dodge your phone calls and are extremely evasive when it comes to providing a straight answer. Service manager Martin was rude, inconsiderate and inflexible to customer needs. Unbelievably BAD Experience I was returning my lease and started looking around while I was waiting. Long story short, I bought a used XT5. I talked to the salesperson and finance manager to ensure any charges for the lease would be taken care of since I was buying a car from them and couldn’t afford a down payment on top of any end of lease charges. This is the first time that I got work done at your dealership and I have not had to go back for repair. Jack was courteous, took all the time needed and had everything done that I asked for. The only negative is the price , almost $3800. Examples wiper blades $50, Battery $390, tires Potenza Re0050 $483 each. I found them online for $200 each. That is over twice the cost. Even with the Coronavirus issues and limited staffing at the dealership, Aric was very accommodating while trying to maintain a “healthy distance”. He is very knowledgeable about the Cadillac product line. The vehicle we purchased was extremely clean and presented very well. We would definitely recommend this dealership.

Jack in service dept was most professional, congenial, and helpful, with the maintenance servicing on my 2019 XT5, last Tuesday. The one and only negative factor to the experience, was having to wait 45 minutes to be written up by him for servicing, because he was suddenly bombarded with his other customers that also arrived same time. All of the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. My 2017 XT 5 has had problems for at least the past two years. It had been towed a couple of times to Stead. Nothing was ever identified as a culprit of my car needing three batteries in three years. There were many other symptoms which I feel were warning signs. I took my leased XT5 in for routine maintenance, and brought a couple of minor issues to Jeremy's attention. He informed me there was also a new recall for engine computer upgrade. All of this was performed as quickly as could be expected while I waited. It was a rainy day, but at my request they also washed and cleaned the car, which had just been through a messy trip. Jeremy kept me informed by text as maintenance progressed. I don't know what the upgrade was, but the car drives better than ever.

Although I've always experienced pretty good customer service at MSC/WC, this last visit was incredibly satisfying due to Jeremy Wilson, Rachel, Trevor and Luis. Couldn't write a better scenario for profound customer service if I was a screenwriter! Every action by the above-mentioned employees was on-point and reassuring. I drive some distance to the dealership and wait for my car. There is a fancy coffee machine and I can make a latte or hot chocolate and a very pleasant area where I wait. A very nice young man greeted me and asked if I had a service appointment. He escorted me to David Johns, who immediately checked me in. The service work was completed in the time promised and I was able to use a discount coupon I received in the mail. The same young man came over when I was getting into my CTS Coupe to leave, and said he loved my car…it is really unique and I’ve kept it like new. All in all, a very pleasant service experience.

I have had excellent customer service from all members of the Michael Stead team since I purchased my XT5 in October 2018. There were a few issues which were quickly resolved/fixed so far (my most recent visit is still a bit of a mystery since of course my brakes wouldn't freeze up while there). I do not live near the dealership so an Uber is provided both ways which has been very helpful. I love getting my vehicle back clean and repaired which always makes me smile. I do recommend this dealership!

BUT I NEVER GOT MY QUOTE TO PURCHASE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. I REQUESTED A QUOTE ON THE 8TH OF AUGUST AND IT IS NOW THE 17TH AND AS OF THIS DATEI I STILL HAVE NOT GOT ONE. HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO ASK? I STILL WOULD LIKE ONE. BUT LETS SEE HOW MUCH LONGER IT WILL BE BEFORE I AM CONTACTED WITH A QUOTE.
